Technical Programme Committee Co-Chair
Adj. Prof., Dr. Susanne Norgren
Sandvik and Lund University (Sweden)
Within the field of powder metallurgy, Susanne Norgren has published 75 research articles in addition to 400 published patents and patent applications. Her research spans from materials design, sintering and tribology of hard metal sand diamond materials to design of TI alloys, Co-Cr alloys and fundamental research on powder metallurgy. She has supervised 23Ph:D students from the company/university side all related to powder metallurgy. She has supervised 1.5 phd as principal supervisor and 4 as second from the university side. She did her habilitation in 2007 at KTH on hard metals including powder, compaction and sintering, phases and structures of cemented carbides, 2011-2020 she was an adjunct professor in Applied materials science at Uppsala university and 2020 she applied and qualified or the Lise Meitner adjunct professor position at Lund university. This after having gone through a full professors evaluation (again now at Lund). At Uppsala among other tasks she headed the strategic initiative on additive manufacturing -and during her management she created an international master in AM, which started this autumn, and in addition created a research centre-Add-Life focused on printed materials for the medical sector. Since 2004 to present she has been lecturing, planning and giving courses in sintering of hardmetal, wear and tribology of metal cutting tools and rock drills, and materials design on powder based materials –hard metal, diamond, titanium.

Technical Programme Committee Co-Chair
Mr Alexander Angré
Linde Gas (Sweden)
Alexander Angré graduated from the Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm, in 2009, with a Master’s degree in Materials Science. Following his studies he worked a near decade with applied powder metallurgy research at Swedish Materials Research Institute Swerim before moving on to take on the role as Technical Manager at Powder Producer Carpenter Powder Products, Torshälla. Since 2021 he is working with gas solutions in Powder Metallurgical applications for Linde Gas in Sweden.
The EPMA would like to express its sincere thanks to the members of the Technical Programme Committee for their support and hard work in structuring the Euro PM2024 programme.
